Bio
Monica graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia and began her career in a public health hospital, where she built a strong foundation in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She worked in a musculoskeletal outpatient clinic, managing a variety of post-operative conditions, and later gained further experience in community physiotherapy, supporting older adults with chronic shoulder dysfunction and mobility challenges. Monica also works in hand therapy, a specialised field that has strengthened her rehabilitation skills and clinical precision. She has had the opportunity to work alongside leading surgeons and senior shoulder and hand specialists, further enhancing her clinical reasoning and depth of care.
